Hope Toler Dougherty holds a Master’s degree in English and taught at East Carolina University and York Technical College in Rock Hill, SC. Her novels include Irish EncounterMars…With Venus Rising, and Rescued Hearts. Her Forever series includes Forever Music and Forever Home. Her novella “A Hatteras Surprise” was included in Candy Cane Wishes and Saltwater Dreams.

Hope is an introvert who loves family, traveling, reading, live music, cooking, crocheting, public speaking, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Jesus, but not necessarily in that order. Her skills include changing the oil in a 1974 Mustang, playing the dulcimer, and soloing a Cessna 150.

A member of ACFW and a chronic volunteer, she’s active in her church and community. She and her husband, Kevin, delight in visits with their two daughters and twin sons.
