Cheryl Schuermann enjoyed many years as a literacy consultant and curriculum trainer in schools across the U.S. In 2007, she signed her first book contract, and was quickly hooked. An award-winning author, she is now writing her fifth book. Her first devotional, Farmhouse Devotions, will be released in 2024 by Bold Vision Books. The family farmhouse is her favorite place to write, play with family, and host ministry groups.

Cheryl is a member of Word Weavers International, Advanced Writers and Speakers Association, CAN/CIPA, and Serious Writer. For over two decades, Cheryl and her husband Stan have mentored and taught groups of parents in their local church. They now enjoy co-authoring books for parents and teens.

In addition to writing, Cheryl facilitates a caregiver support group in her community and spends as much time as possible with her family: four sons, four daughters-in-love, and thirteen grandchildren, ages 8-20.
